October fifth

Settle sun, you warm me when
I fall behind in my thoughts,
Hold onto the repetition of attachment.
The cold floor can come to claim my tears
Settle sun, I ask on those days
There is no voice in me

I become a well
Regardless of time, sorrow blackens
Settle sun, pieces of me stay this way
When you rise again
You will see no difference
When you warm me.

  1. This is a lovely poem. Since I am in a snafu with WordPress I won’t be able to follow your blog. I wish you all good things. Let the words flow…

    1. I hope every thing gets cleared up. Thank you so much for your comment!
