October third

Wash
Wash
The glass sparkles, laying molecules
On a tight rope in a pebble garden
We seek knowledge in this den
Full of ficus trees and Persian carpets
Patterns hidden beneath the guests
At my October tea party.
The full moon fades into the sky
Midday its final challenge
The glass sparkles, laying molecules
In a circle over a cylinder
Where we keep our whole hearts.
