Sister and the Star

Tonight a clear sky, and she sees a shooting star.
A culmination of all life’s energies–releasing.
We live everyday, breathe, work, stretch.
We dance with over seven hundred miles between us.

Travels line up with smiles and
tentative expectations of what reunions will bring.
(I favor your aquamarine stare and eager willingness to support the arts, in any form).
It is easy to fall into laughter or discord and we know we are human.
When we’re all safe and sound at home again, we will be wondering when next our pathways and stories will align.
