Hello my fellow writers, friends and those who read my blog (thank you)! I kinda forgot all the things my blog exists for until just now!
I was absorbed in my fall poetry and trying to decide what I should not post on here, and what I should post when I remembered… Ah! This is not just for poetry. (My brain has also been on vacation mode as of late).
My friend, Damion LaPier, is requesting input for feedback on a poetry collection that he has put together. He has created a contest for us. The exciting thing is that we get to compete to be editors and readers. By October 19th, 2011 at midnight, a little letter telling him the reason he should select us should be submitted if there is interest in participating.
I like this contest because I personally value feedback from my peers a great deal and feel that I would be lost without it. I know many of us depend heavily on their constructive criticism as well…. And I love to edit, there is that too.
